If you need to export users and their emails from the legacy ArGoSoft Mail Server, follow these steps:
- The latest version of ArGoSoft Mail Server, which supports the export is 2.0.5.0. If you are using earlier version, follow these steps:
- Download the latest version from our Legacy page.
- Uninstall the existing mail server from Add/Remove programs. When prompted if you wish to keep users and data, select Yes.
- Launch the ArGoSoft Mail Server UI, go to Tools - Export to agms, specify the output file, and follow the prompts.
- Install the ImportFromArGoSoft application from the following link.
- Launch the application ImportFromArGoSoft.
- Select the zip file created above, specify the output directory where you want to keep the exported data, and follow the prompts.
- Place the resulting folder in the agms server data folder. By default, it is /var/lib/agms for Linux and C:\ProgramData\agms for Windows.
